Hi All

I'm from the amount of fed up owners posting online not alone with antipollution related problems with this car.Now £650 later and 5 trips to a main dealer am totally fed up.

When we bought the car the hic up fault hardly happened but now it has a new fuel rail/filter and 5 dealer visits under its cam belt the symptoms are :- when accelerating under load you hit around 2500 and it feels like the engine has been switched of resulting in a jolt that feels like the breaks have been jabbed and the dreaded anti polluiton bleep and message grrrr:mad::mad:.

Under driving miss daisy like not above 2000rpm accelertion/driving we got home last night with a car that felt normal(apart from the orange mocking glow of that damn engine symbol).Odd thing is this fault can be drastically reduced by filling up at a shell garage (we put in BP diesel last night and were rewarded with all the usual problems) .

When we use super market diesel it drastically worsens the problem causing total stalling!! once in the middle of a busy duel carriagway and once on a motorway:eek:.A quick restart and away again v slowly.

Please can any one out there give us hope with this pesky pug as my wife loves the thing. As for me classic cars rule no ECU or stupid electronics/sensors to go wrong and no code reader required BLISS:o:o.

Thanks:)
