I have somehow installed the above unintentionally and cannot remove it. I have tried the normal windows intall/uninstall option and the uninstall in Ccleaner. Is there any way of removing this item.
I use Avira and Malwarebytes and so do not have a need for McAfee.

- Under Start menu, go to all Programs
- Open McAfee Security Scan Plus folder
- Select “Uninstall”

...and then run the mcafee removal tool as well - it's not just for the antivirus
