Hi
Our property has prepaid meters for gas & electric as we used to rent it out to tenants but moved back in around a year ago. We have never had prepaid meters before then but didn't really mind leaving them in the property and have found the PAYG route alright up to press.
We have started to look around at the possibility of switching to cheaper tariffs and it seems more beneficial to be on a post paid tariffs. So we were thinking about switching suppliers via quidco or TCB to gain a little extra.
My question is if we switch meters to post paid are we tied to this new supplier for 12 months and could switch back to prepaid meters in the future if we rent the property out again in the future .
Any advice or help welcome
I thought mobile phone tariffs were complicated but this utility switch process/tariff switch may beat it.
