Halifax clarity - Do cash withdrawals count towards the £300?

Hi all,

Quick one, does anyone know if cash withdrawals count towards the £300 I need to put through it to get the monthly £5 or does it need to be purchases?

(it was an overseas/euro cash withdrawal)

    I would say no, think its just purchases that count towards the reward.
