Unreasonable landlord/agent

Probably no good until Monday morning but assuming the LL/LA continue to ignore their responsibilities then contact your Council's Environmental Health team and ask them to assess whether the lack of security is a hazard under the Housing Health and Safety Rating scheme. If it is then they could serve notice on the landlord to make him repair the door (or do works in default) - but a retaliatory eviction might be a possibility.0

evaction meaning section 21 notice with 2 full rental periods notice, or to end at the end of the fixed term if you're still in teh fixed term.Probably no good until Monday morning but assuming the LL/LA continue to ignore their responsibilities then contact your Council's Environmental Health team and ask them to assess whether the lack of security is a hazard under the Housing Health and Safety Rating scheme. Otherwise they have to find a proper reason & go to court.
Unless he "brings a few mates round" obviously, so a lock change may be in order (a LL not wanteing to repair a brugled door sounds very dodgy indeed, most ones would be very worried about it)0 -
I can't put the words together, but this is presumably after securing the stable door and looking for the horse?rexmedorum wrote: »Unless he "brings a few mates round" obviously, so a lock change may be in order (a LL not wanteing to repair a brugled door sounds very dodgy indeed, most ones would be very worried about it)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Did the police give you the police crime number? The LL will need that for his building insurance company. One way or another, the LL will need to pay for it or reimburse you for the expense.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0
