Just moved flat and upgraded to 50meg broadband with Virgin Media.
Engineer came around this morning to fit in the Vbox etc, connected to the internet with my laptop but said I need to update my drivers to enable wireless. Tried going through Toshiba site but apparently have to pay to update it.
Is there a simpler way to update for free to get wireless? Works fine when connected with cable.
Its a 4 year old Toshiba Equium A series a100. Thanks!:D

Is this where you checked for the update?

Can you be more specific on the model or adapter manufacturer?
EG:
Equium A100-027Manufacturer : Atheros
Equium A100-147Manufacturer : Intel®
Other Models
You shouldn't have to pay. You might find them here:

Yes it is the Vista one. This will sound stupid but i've downloaded the file and opened it up (extracted?) but Don't know where to put it in order to update the driver? Thanks.0

Do you see the text file README.txt & the file Setup.exe in the folder?
Check the version number you have installed already with Device manager. (Find the wireless device and look at its properties). Version.txt in the folder will tell you the driver version you are installing.
