from offer to cheque (lloydstsb)

I was wondering how long it takes from the offer to the cheque arriving, had my offfer of 5.4k !!!

It is a waiting game at the moment with the banks i am afraid,just have patience and hang on,it could be 28 days or more,sit tight.

I would give them say about 21 days after they received your acceptance, and if you hear nothing, contact them and ask for an update, good luck.

My letter was from Aug 3rd, and Ive still not been paid. The back log is MASSIVE! don't expect anything in the next month. They told me on Fri that they still have some July letters to pay! You've probably seen by stuff on these threads, the info you get from one call is widely different to the next time you ring! So tight, you'll get it but probably at Xmas!

I dont understand whats going on at all, some people like yourself havent been paid yet, some people who only got their calculations a couple of weeks ago HAVE been paid!!! I got told they couldn't do BACS payments at the minute and yet someone had a BACS payment from lloyds today!
I think its a disgrace the way they are handling this, Ive even thought of contacting Watchdog to name and shame them!!!
