That must be a relief. So glad they relented."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0

:jPleased they came through in the end, and kind of nice that they were honest about it eventually as they could have kept saying they sent it and you couldn't really prove otherwise. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Yes, it was good of them, but I did ask them if they had proof a letter/s was sent. Still brilliant result - another £65 was paid out on Ralph this morning!
Mind you, wonder how much the premium will increase next year.0 -

WOO HOO - success - just had a supervisor ring me from customer care. They have been UNABLE to find that a default letter was sent out to me and in that case they are reinstating my policy backdated to when it should have started (of course I have to pay the backdated premium) and they will be paying for Ralphs claim. WOO HOO, there is a god.
:jOh Hethmar, you must be sooooooo relieved - really, really pleased to hear this:D
It's given me a bit of a wake up call as I pay most of my insurance premiums (although not the pets for some reason) by annual premium and I've just had a new cc too - will def be paying attention at renewal time.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

They put up our insurance from£15pm to £65 pm for a mongrel when it turned ten..we declined and guess what,,,diabetes 2 months laterIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
