It's not always downhill!

This section of the forum can be a little downbeat due to the nature of the topics, so I thought I’d add a true tale about someone who spent some money in their mother’s retired years

On meeting a guy I hadn’t seen for a few years, they told me they had moved house.
I was surprised as they loved their house
He said “We did but we moved to another one so we had room to build a granny flat for my 90year old mum, which we did, but it wasn’t needed”
Expecting the worst I was about to offer my sympathy when he added “she moved out to get married!”
So this is something of a cautionary tale ... life really is what happens while you are making other plans!
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow
