  • Our local tescos never have anything reduced like that at all, couple of weeks ago I managed to pick up some Hello Kitty lunch bags reduced to £2 but nothing was majorly reduced, it is definately store specific

thought i would offer an opinion here in south wales, i have been to 4 local tescos in the big city with a C and all of them have warehouse clearances on toys and summer items, i was told by a staff member that all stores have to have a clearance ready for thier big price drop on food starting monday, also nice to see so many friendly bargain hunters today all i met were so nice, gave away loads of sunday mails after using the vouchers as well lol
  • I got the thomas sodar airport too, a lady was stood looking at it, i said "its only £3" she then put it back...crazy! Also got the ball/paddling pool with uv hood for £2 and a toy storey car sign for 10p

I scanned the £9.98 talking one and it was full price

I have found three of them so far a big one which I think talks, a medium on which is sort of sat down in packaging which is perhaps made to look like a boat, and a 10/12inch one which talked all ranging from £9.something-£15, sadly not reduced. Seems not all stores have programmed in the clearance prices on the tills.
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

Does anyone know if the Redditch Extra store is worth a visit? Normally I would just go and see for myself but am 35 weeks pregnant and not very mobile right now so no point going if it would be a wasted journey
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

well after missing yesterdays madness as we were travelling down to birmingham to see lee evans(comp win with hotel stay:)) i nipped into the brum one at 11pm hardly anything scanning at 90% but found a qed hdmi lead and 3 tony hawk techdeck ramps at 80p each.
On the way home stopped at stafford and got a few bits in there including the box of £3 megablocks and large hello kitty plush for £2, spent 30 altogether in there.
Nearly home so decided to get of train at prescot and went mad in there no price reductions but found and scanned plenty the highlights being the paperjamz guitar and amp at £".50 and £1.50 and woody/bullseye for 2 quid met loads of martins friends you could easily tell us(trolleys stuffed with toys and electricals hehe) altogether spent £40 in there-totalled up and got about 750 (rrp) worth of toys for £80.

My only gripe today in prescot was the netbooks that were on display that they couldnt sell 2 days ago now had two missing grrr found a manager moaned and he found a hp mini (which was on display too) for 79 he took my name and said team leader(who has the keys) will call tomorrow and the netbook is definately mine hmmm we will see. Same guy passed me as i was waiting outside for a cab and of he trots home with a dell under his arm which i believe might have been the £99 one that ppl have mentioned, somethiong for me to bring up should they decide to stiff me on the net book. Going to try st helens tomorrow am very early(downside is no scanners to check grrr) then after that no more bloomin tescos for me for a while lol.
My poor 15 yr old daughter broke her wrist i 5:eek: places tonight poor little mite was screaming in agony, all casted temp now and fingers crossed no surgery needed to fix.
    get well soon honey .
