She denied this so I made them get the manager down but she wouldn't wait at the desk and disappeared so when the manager came and she arrived back there was nothing in her pocket. I argued and told them to go and check the cctv and they would see she took the label, the manager said he would give me the benefit of the doubt and gave me dtd but I still emailed head office but never got a reply
Thanks for the reply, the duty manager wasn't helpful at all and said he would only go by what he could physically see (which was no label) I argued the same about them checking the cctv because I know what I saw. It could be possible the CS lady took the label, as she has refused me a refund before when the tesco batteries were 3 for 2 and they didn't go through as on offer, she told me I got the wrong batteries because the packets state Tesco Extra Long life but the shelf label is for the Long life batteries only. When I checked packs I had bought b4 that I had at home they had the word "Extra" ...so I realised they were the same batteries its just the SEL doesn't mention the word "Extra" ... I sent a complaint email and was given a £5 gift card.
Will wait to see if I get a call back from the 2nd Head office advisor I phoned or will just take them back and get my refund.0 -
