  • Hi this is my first post. First of all I would like to thank all the wonderful people for posting bargins they have come across, Its really helped me. I have been to my local stores sandh***t and alder***t but cant seem to find any of the reduced toys. All the bits I selfed scanned was full price. Can any1 give me some pointers at what to look for please. Many thanks.

    sorry - my local is a bit rubbish hasnt had any bargains - i checked the iggle piggles and upsydaisy but they were scanning at SEL!!

  • Mysteries of china town board game was £2, looks quite fun- looking forward to playing it christmas morning! Also got Cluedo for £7, and Boggle flash for £6- not as brilliant bargains as some of the others, but a lot cheaper than elsewhere!

    coleraine store
    general grievous light saber - no SEL, scanned at £3.70
    ben 10 ultimate alien disc ultimatrix - SEL priced and scanned at £1.9
    peppa pig figures - no SEL, scanned at 70p

    ballymena store
    dr who tardis playset - SEL priced and scanned at £4
    timmy time lulla baah - no SEL, scanned at £1.5
    play doh puppy play set - SEL £11.xx, scanned at £1.4

    there might have been more items in these stores, however there are no self scanners and i didnt want to keep running up to customer services. will hopefully get in again for another look.

    thats the first time I've heard anyone mention the tardis playset - do you please have a link or a photo. Theres the one that looks like the inside of the tardis and a blue box one - wasn't sure which one you meant and would love to get one, thanks.
  • just got the timmy time with a blanket for £1.5 from huddersfield rd. there was a few left about an hr ago. hth
