We are thinking of going to Holland for 2 weeks in the summer (July). The first 4 days we are planning to stay in Amsterdam and do the sights and museums and then go somewhere interesting for the rest of the time. Our 2 children 14 &19 will be with us. Has anyone any suggestions for resorts/hotels etc outside Amsterdam. Thanks.

Why not try Center Parcs? There are 5 parks in Holland. We went last year. It's less than half the price of the UK Center Parcs, and there's plenty to do for all ages."...IT'S FRUITY!"0

Thanks - which resort did you stay in and do you know if I can use a discount code if the parc is outside the UK.

We stayed at Het Meerdal. To be honest I wasn't too worried about discount codes as it was about a third of the price of a British Park anyway!"...IT'S FRUITY!"0

We stayed at Center Parcs in holland and had a great time. We went to De Emhof, not to far from amsterdam.
Places we visited included Haderwilk (Spelling?) - Dolphinarium. Not far away is holland's first (and only?) outlet centre which is very similar to bicester outlet village. The drive across the dam is well worth a trip also.

We are going to Port Zelande this august.Last year we went to Park Loohorst in the south of Holland...We are going the last week of august and it's 4 times as much the same week in the UK..We booked online and got 20% discount online..Not sure if discounts are still available as we booked last september for this year..0
