The other wont either via wireless or cable.
Assume router is working ok.
Have tried diagnosticbut get the message that Gateway is unavailable and the router needs resetting.

Is this the best course of action orwill I create more problems?
Is there a simplefix
Should I restore manufacturers settings.
Have tried a restore point to no avail.

As you've tried system restore with no success and presumably want a quick fix and not some protracted try this, try that session I'd say your best option is the system restore which you mentioned originally. You'll need to pull off any important personal documents first as the process will delete them (CD/DVD USB drive etc.)
  • Thanks.
    I will try it
