Radio Internet Connection?

Hi
I live on a boat & am trying to get internet access sorted.
Now somebody has told me that they use a radio internet connection which doesn't require a phone line and connects through some kind of "black box"? They said they used a company called "Now" (I think, my memory is hazy).
I have googled & can't find any internet companies called Now (although it's a common word, so my search skills might just be rubbish), & I can't find any info about a radio connection that works without a telephone line.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be, & have any helpful links?
Could it be a satellite connection?

You're a star

My searching skills must be a lot more rubbish than I realised!0 -
Don't bother with mynow. They're rubbish. They'll sign you up if you're in their area and then after you've settled in, they'll terminate your service. They're going bust. Try one of the mobile options, like 3G or T-Mobile.0

T Mobile have a deal at the moment on their web n walk tariff. Take a voice contract and add unlimited web access for £7.50 a month. Or on PAYG pay £1 a day. A fair usage policy applies, but this is as far as I can ascertain, the cheapest way to get mobile web access.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0
