Losing the plot with call centres

Cancelled my tv, internet and phone with virgin media today due to lack of customer service. Am not willing to go through another year of this rubbish. Takes me about half an hour to actually speak to a human on their customer helpline, who then turns out to be in a call centre in mumbai, reading from a script, repeating to me they understand. ive had enough. i pay my bills in the uk and would like to know if there are any telephone companies in the uk that have uk call centres only??

Fell like i am going round in circles, would be extremely gratedul if anyone could help. Thanks x

  • Try Zen, Plusnet or O2 for telephone companies with UK call centres.

Zen have the best reputation but are not the cheapest. You don't have to use their Broadband service.

    http://www.zen.co.uk/home-office/voice/phone-services.aspx

The others require you to have their Broadband, but Plusnet allow you to keep their Phone service if you change Broadband suppliers later.

O2 is great if you can get their LLU Broadband service at your local exchange, otherwise choose another supplier.

I don't think you can get TV services from companies that do UK support though. Unless Plusnet do as they are owned by BT, but are better quality.

    Good luck. :)

I use O2 (LLU), and prior to that Zen, can vouch for the quality of their UK based support.

Often, smaller companies can give better attention customer service than the bigger ones that are just fighting for bigger market share.

I'm with The Phone Co-op, who have a friendly customer service team in Oxfordshire, and an internet team in Manchester. Always been very fast and efficient when I've needed to get in touch.
