    Either you do need it for work and cannot get to work via public transport or shanks pony, or you don't need it for work. Obviously your OR has decided you don't need it.

    Well I can get there by public transport, but it takes longer and is less in my control. The OR has decided otherwise. Oh well.

    I think the criteria is if you can reasonably use public transport, i.e. fair cost and travel times, then you don't need a vehicle.

  • Seems one or two ORs are taking an interest in vehicles at the moment.

    I wonder if an internal note has been sent to them from OR headquarters.
