Wireless mouse interfering with Digi Sender

Options
I have just installed a wireless mouse. However it is causing interference with the digi sender which sends Sky to the TV in the bedroom.

The bedroom is next to the room where the pc is located.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

  • Hi,

you could try a different channel on your digi sender.

Thanks. We tried that and it didn't make any difference.

This problem has reared its head again as I have tried using the wireless mouse after using the wired one all this time.

Is there any way to change the channel the mouse uses and if so, how do I do it?

We have tried every channel available on the digi sender to no avail. Would I have the same problem with a new digi sender? This one is quite a few years old.
  • Im guessing they are all fixed on the 2.4ghz frequency which would mean you wouldnt be able to change it unless it has a secondary frequency on it.

Thanks for that. I've just checked and yes the mouse is on 2.4ghz and doesn't appear to have a secondary frequency.

Looks like we need a new digi sender on a different frequency.

I've just searched Amazon for a mouse with a different frequency, but all the ones that actually mention the frequency are all 2.4ghz. Changing the digi sender is a much more expensive option.
