How do I work out my childcare costs now?

My 2nd child finished up at a private nursery on 12/8 to start School on 16/8. He started attending 2 childcare providers (before and after school) on 20/9 when I returned to work.

Tried today to give figures to TC peeps but I added the new figs to the old nursery ones and divided by 52 so I was wrong. I know what I have to do (work out how much I will be paying to the 2 providers) but do I divide by 52 or 24 (amount of weeks left in the tax year)?

I've got 4 kids and 3 childcare providers - it gets confusing!

You need to tell them your new weekly total payment figure if it is different from before. The system will calculate your entitlement based on the previous figure up to the date of change and the entitlement after the date of change and adjust your payments accordingly
