Hi,

It's not often I travel by train, and my how it has changed over the years.
I only want a day return from cheltenham to bath, and train line, red spotted hankey want nearly £30.

It really doesn't entice us to use public transport more,

any one have any clues about getting cheap tickets, I managed to get them for £13 return last nov,

I have a hospital appoint there about every four months

What time do you need to travel? If you can go off peak, the standard off peak return from Cheltenham to Bath is £12.40.

In fact even on-peak it's £17.30!

leave about 9am and return about 5ish,
where did you find that price , its excellent

It's on thetrainline.com at that price... maybe you accidentally clicked on the wrong station..? I know I've done that before! :rotfl:

But those prices are no cheaper than from the train station direct.

An Off Peak Return is £20.00.

An Off Peak Day Return is £12.40. This is what you want.
The first train that you can leave Cheltenham on with this ticket is 08:52... arrive Bath 10:05... change at Bristol Temple Meads.

No need to book in advance and avoid the Trainline fees by booking at the station on the day.

Travel back on any train. No evening peak restrictions.
