For what tho? I only get benefits I don't work as I have a baby...0

It could be a routine check or they could have had a report that you are not actually entitled to benefits. Given your other post re your partner staying, I would presume the latter.0
-
So why would they ask for bank statements? I originally thought it may be as he stays as this was majority of cases on google! x0

If you haven't got anything untoward on your bank statements then what's the problem. Of course they are going to do checks on what people are claiming.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0

They will be hopeing for even more evidence that you are comitting benefit fraud, you have already admitted that you are living with the father of your baby and the one you are expecting but you want the rent paid so you claim as a single parent, you do know that this site dosnt condone or give advice to fraudsters dont you?
Dont worry they will already have enough evidence to prove you are commiting fraud, your partner not having a steady wage is no excuse for what you are doing.0 -
It also doesn't condone people being judgemental or moaning about benefits yet you're quite happy to do that.0
