is that reply to my post ? i went away for the weekend so i did need to correct my mistake for the return journey , all i paid was the difference for the return trip. the tickets were checked on the train so im certainly glad i sorted it out !

Naturally, my girlfriend was pressured into buying a single train ticket at a price of £51 as she was worried about being arrested. She then had to buy a return journey ticket at a cost of £18, bringing the whole total to £99.
If it had been in a Penalty Fare area there would have been a mandatory penalty fare added as well.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

The invalid ticket and railcard should have been withdrawn by the ticket inspector so she would not be able to get a refund. And the following post is incorrect as well. The Railcard MUST be present on the train journey or the ticket is not valid, it can't be shown after.0 -
