Iphone 3GS Signal Problems!!!!!

Hey everyone,
I recently got a replacement phone sent to my from a seller on ebay as I bought it refurbed before an had alot of problems with it and now since I have had my replacement all I seem to be having is signal problems and I wanted to know if anyone has had the same kind of problems too and what you think I should do next as I cant imagine that the seller would do much. its really driving me crazy and with the iphone I had before I had no signal problems.
