comet extended warranty or?

possibly the wrong place for this thread soory if it is

i am buying a new laptop and want to get insurance/extended warranty for it. the laptop is comng from comet.

is their extended warranty good, bad or indifferent? is there a better/cheaper oway out there?

i would want accidental damage coverage, and don't really want to be claiming on my house insuarance for the computer. the last one (pc worlds coverplan) has replaced the monitor and the jeybiard at different times due to damage and has fixed other things. i have never had any problems getting them to fix it, or problems wiht the time it has taken. (they send it out to teleplan, do comet?)

i think i can buy a hp careplan direct fomr hp, but is that better or worse than comets plan? i dont think there is much difference in price.

any sugestions or tips?
