Hi All
Well my 16 week deadline has come and gone and nothing
i have been calling them everyday for past 2 weeks and been told alsorts of stories. After 20 million calls the past 2 days to try and speak to a person (engaged or rings off!) I got a lady on the phone today who has now told me as yet no one has even looked at my complaint and I should have a response by end of next week
( I logged my complaint in may!
I'm blimin sick of mucking about now, can one of you lovely people give me some email address of some high up people at HSBC that may help get there bums into gear? also if anyone has any good quotes to put in the email? So rubbish at doing official letters/emails
As always thanks to all the helpers on this forum dont know what I do with out you

If you try to get it to "someone high up" the likelihood is that your complaint will be taken out of the general queue that it is slowly but surely working its way up and put at the back of the "someone high up" queue which is probably getting ever longer as people ask to be dealt with by Mr or Ms Someonehighup.
Of course the more that do this who are higher up in the general queue than you, the fast you move up and if you do it then everybody below you moves up one place.
So I suspect that an attempt to speed up your case will instead result in an inadvertent act of altruism.
I would wait the extra week if I were you.0 -
I think maybe you're being too impatient, there will be thousands of other people waiting on very similar complaints all of which want prompt sorting. I imagine the process is further slowed down when the banks have to divert resources to answer daily phone calls from people such as yourself wanting news when there is none to give, preventing them actually sorting the cases out.
May may seem like a long time, but when you consider that others like myself have been waiting since February last year or longer, it's not really that long.
Now, unless you're in dia financial hardship and can justifiably be put in a priority queue, my advice to you would be to stop making pointless phone calls otherwise your phone bill will be a bit on the high side

Its your money so don't be scared to push your case.
Quote buzz words like 'duty of care' etc to them.
I sent my claim off in May 2011 and received an upheld acceptance letter in the middle of September 2011.0
