On the 28th Dec I bought a memory card on BIN. The seller was based in China and when I have bought from China it has of course taken a little longer to get to me. I paid by paypal.

On the 10th Jan I sent this...

Can you confirm this item has been shipped, as I have not recieved it up to today. Thanks

And the day after, recieved this...

How genuine do you think this is? Should I just wait longer and be more patient? The seller has a 99.3% positive rating.

Poor English not hugely surprising in that. He seems to have given you a fair amount of information so i would add 3 weeks onto 4th January plus a weekend so if you haven't got it by last Monday in January I would start a claim.

This is the draw back in buying fom China, USA etc postage can be a nightmare and I think you have to give benefit of the doubt whilst keeping an eye on when any claims time out. 45 days for Paypal I believe.

On december 26th an earthquake hit Taiwan and knocking out 7 of there 8 major underwater fibre optic comms. Which disrupted all of asia, some parts of europe and usa.

Yep, I'd give it a while longer. Their effort at communicating in English is commendable, and since they've given you a tracking number they seem pretty genuine.
