Where to stash my cash

My dad is giving me £20,000 from the sale of his house and I just need some help/advice in where to put it (no personal bank account details please
). My wife and I have an ISA each already and put in £3,000 a year so we can't put it in them. Is the A&L Direct Saver account a good bet for the money? We wont need access to it in a rush either cos it's going towards a house purchase next year.
Thanks
