Town and county parking fine

I went to Iceland car park, we got there around about 09.50 and searched for change! Didn't have any... Its a pound for parking, Got out the car across the road (lights were green didn't have to wait) went into the smallest post office in existence. Took out £10 so I had change, receipt timed 09.53.45
Went to door of post office and seen the vultures having swooped in and writing me a ticket.

I left the car for literally 3 minutes. No more than that. He has time stamped by ticket as seen the car at 09.49 and ticket issued at 09.59. I was in the store arguing before 09.59 so its a blatant lie.

I rang them up, they say submit my complaint in writing... I figure we have to do that but then I read the web and it says to ignore tickets issued by town and county, just call me confused.com

What do I do here? He obviously lied and i have the receipt for the post office at 09.53 to show that he is lying....

Although you feel the circumstances are relevant I can assure you they are not ..all you have to do is ignore the idiots.
Don't waste any more time on this at all.

Simply ignore them. All you have is a speculative invoice. Expect some computer generated threatening junk mail, but just ignore that and they will give up and go away.

Firstly, the story doesn't matter although it is good to get the background!

The first thing is that as this is Iceland the shop, then it is a private car park and it is 'managed' by Town & Country a well know PPC!

Ok, so you next lesson is don't worry about it.

The next step is then to complete ignore Town & Country, don't write to them or speak to them. The do not give a toss about your legitimate story, they just want your money!!! Because you didn't give Iceland their pound within seconds of getting out of the car, they are now trying to scam you out of a boat load of money, which you don't owe them.

There is no APPEAL, they will not see reason, they don't care.

So IGNORE relax and look at the stickies at the of this page, that will show you the Threatograms you will start to receive from T&C, open them, laugh and stick them in the draw.
