Hi,
I'm a FTB.
I've bought a ground floor flat with allocated parking space.
The flat also has a NHBC guarentee.
I have to sign the papers now. What are the documents i need to check before signing?
Please throw some light here.
Any advise is valuable for me.
Thanks,
AA

You pay your solicitor to check all the paperwork beforehand, and your mortgage company wouldn't release the money if they weren't happy, so you can sign with relative confidence.
Read through everyting however and ask if there's anything you don't understand. Most of it is in legal talk so you have to try and translate it for yourself!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Please give me some inputs.

Check that the price you are paying is correct.
Check the date you will complete.
Check which flat and which allocated parking place you are buying.

it really is as straightforward as Robert says, just check that theres nothing on there you dont know about, and that you are buying the right number property.
Once you are sure its the right one sign it, fax it to your sols, and then send the hard copy recorded next day delivery to be on the safe side ( costs about £3 max, well worth doing)
good luck:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
