Transfer from Krakow-Balice airport

Hi,
We've booked cheap flights with SkyEurope to Krakow, and got a great hotel booked. The hotel will charge 50 zloty (approx £12) for an airport transfer which sounds reasonable.
However wanted to check if it is possible to just grab a taxi at the airport, and to get an idea of how much this would cost, as I assume it would be cheaper. Thanks.

based on personal experience i'd say if you're landing in the evening it's worth paying the extra money and not getting the 192 bus. although it does go right to the central train station, when i tried to get it i waited 50mins for it to arrive. nothing more frustrating than being in another country...but stuck at a bus stop!
That said here's a great site to give you all the options

Thanks both for your replies. I think based on the comments, and on the cost of the shuttle bus I will just go ahead and book with the hotel, seeing as it is the same cost. Don't fancy waiting around for a bus that might not turn up for ages, so I think it's worth £12!0
