Help with diagnosis needed
Options
Our 1994 Peogeot 205 has recently had new front shock absorbers fitted, but at 65 mph we still notice a judder, that gets progressivly worse the nearer to 70mph you get. 6 months ago our car cruised nicely at 72mph, but now we cannot go along at 70mph as its really uncomfortable for both the driver and passenger. The judder feels like it is worse on the driver's side- could it be the steering? We have also had the front wheels balanced so its not that? anyone have any ideas? we are quite handy with our car usually, but have no idea at the moment what to do- don't really
want to take it to a garage to pay a lot of money for someone to diagnose.

I've had 2 x 205s for 22 years in all and 280k combined on the clocks. I'd say one of the counterweights may have dropped off a tyre. Check to see if there is a clean bit on the rim where they clip on.0

Get your wheels balanced and probably get the tracking done at the same time.
As a quick check have a look at all the wheels to there are no big dunts in the rims.0
