sar letter no response

hi all have had no reply from barclays regarding my sar letter has been over 28 days since sent by recorded delivery with payment of £10.00 which has not been cashed.can someone explain my next move ,thanks .

The company has 40 days to respond to a SAR so it's a case of waiting a little while longer.

That is 40 days from the receiving it until they post it, not from you sending the request until you receiving the information.

If the 40 days finishes you might want to send it again. Its possible that its just been lost somewhere down the line. It won't cost you more if they haven't cashed the first cheque.

Make sure you include as many details as you can so they can locate you.

If they still don't respond you could then complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
