Have you tried run resistant tights ? If you get a hole it doesn't ladder. I got some from M and S and have lasted a while. linky0

well 3 years ago I splashed out and paid £8 for 3 pairs of opaque black tights from M&S and still have them completely indestructible best buy ever. They also have a nice texture and fit. I had always bought cheap before but it was a false economy.
I second this and buy 70 denier plus - dd needed these tights for school and they lasted years:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
The M&S ones are good, but the OP needs natural coloured tights.
I second the support tights option - they won't last forever, but they will last a good while as long as they are hand washed and not shoved in the machine where they might get snagged.0 -
Every Autumn I buy 2 pairs Wolford tights, they are expensive @ 15 -17 per pair however they last 9 months and I wear a skirt almost every day. Very cheap per wear. Sometimes the large department stores do a discount for 2 pairs.0
