How many nights can a partner stay

Hi everyone,
My new partner receives working tax credits and I spend some nights at her house. I have my own house and mortgage and pay my own bills, council tax etc and claim no benefits. As she has children it is more practical to spend more nights at hers than mine so as not to disrupt her childs normal pattern. My question is basically, how many nights per week would I be able to stay at her house without it affecting her entitlements? Any help would be appreciated.

There is no set number of nights contrary to popular beliefThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

If you consider her your partner as your third word says then the answer is no nights but you can spend up to 7 nights per week at your girlfriends house. There is no fixed number it's your relationship they look at.KingCantona7 wrote: »Hi everyone,

There isn't a set number of nights, I don't think. They look at the whole picture such as whether you shop together, share finances, eat together etc and coupley (for lack of a better word) things like that.2019 Wins
