cpp ppi

Can anyone help, I got a letter stating my claim has been approved and need to ring a number to pay excess fees. Is this procedure as little confused. Thanks

    Hi there

    I am not sure on this, did you make a reclaim yourself or use a claims company?

  • If this is PPI, that does not sound right.

    If it is a complaint, as opposed to a claim, then there would not be an excess.

    If, on the other hand it IS a claim, there is no "excess" as such, simply a waiting period when benefits are not payable.

    It sounds like the op has made a claim on the CPP policy. CPP covers cards, money, handbags purses, lost passports etc.

    It is quite likely that cpp charge an excess for the first part of any claim.

    Is this what you have claimed for?
