    when are you going?
This will make you realise how well off we are in this country, and how much pleasure a simple gift can bring.
pm a postal address and I'll send you pens and stuff that I have gained over the years, have asked my grandchildren to sort out old books they can pass on. Will be in good condition as they look after their stuff.
I hope you end up with too much stuff to take and can give them to a good cause.
    Good luck.

A long shot but it might be worth emailing your local paper and telling them what you are doing. They might want to do a news report (and photos) etc but you then might get soem stuff local business.

One thing that worries me is that you might have so much stuff how are you going to get it all out there!

Try a courier company, dhl tnt ups (others are available :rotfl: ) for a freebie in exchange of a good bit of PR, a plug in a local paper with your story would be even better.
Ask local churches and charities for advice, you might even get help or more stuff.
Fellow mse'ers might be as quick to give as they are to take with hints, help or gifts. every little helps

  • if you have a local mall shopping centre near you it may be worth asking if they have any shops who would be happy to donate any unsold sale items rather than send them back some items in the sale are very cheap and it must cost a fortune for them to dispose of it when the sales are over or maybe charity shops have unsold items after a period of time they need to dispose of. worth a try im sure they would rather it went to a good cause than be disposed of.

Many people's view of the world is down to their experience, perception and what they have been conditioned to,this isnt any old MSE reply this is a important and experienced MSE reply :rotfl:
