Hi all. Just so you are aware I tried EVERY POSSIBLE METHOD. All advised on here and even more. I have contacted land owners, HA, Management teams and The Managing Director is the awful guy who was dealing with this all along. An AWFUL AWFUL MAN!!!!
But all of those are involved in the scam. Why contact them, they are the ones you will end up suing.
Hmmmm...pay £3800 to a scammer or say, £380 to a solicitor and get an injunction. Difficult choice eh?
What did Leathes Prior say?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Although it doesn't take much for a clamper to over step the mark! I think there is much more to this story then we have been told!
OP there are a lot of questions in this thread which you haven't answered?
I am sorry for your predicament and the loss of your car, but you really need to see an experienced knowledgeable solicitor!0 -

I am thinking exactly the same thing, lots of questions asked and very few with any or detailed answers!
Equally, I am sorry too, but if we don't know the whole story and you have not contacted Tim Cary, then we can't help you any further!

It strikes me that to the unwitting this thread (and the Pepipoo one) has the following impact :-
It suggests that PPCs can seize your car for previous debts even if it is unlawful and there is nothing you can do about it .
It also discredits this forum (and Pepipoo) by suggesting that the good advice given is of no practical use.
Whether that is by design or misfortune remains unknown.......?
However that is the "on face of it" the negative value.
Now let's educate the unwitting.
Firstly the practice described is rare in the extreme and IS unlawful and action CAN be taken.
but more importantly is the fact that if a company has to resort to this it shows that they KNOW that their charges are not enforceable through the County Court ..otherwise why not simply issue a claim for those charges ???0 -
