I just heard a radio advert for digital hi definition glasses.

Well, yes and no!
It is possible to polish a lens so finely and focus it so accurately that the results are astonishing. Add special nano coatings that remove chromatic aberration. There are also other technologies used.
For example, Nikon sell 2 lenses, both very similar zoom ranges. One is about £300 the other is £1700. The difference is due to the above.
Wether this technology has made it to glasses is another mater though!0 -

Surprised they're not advertised as '3D' as well.0

Are they HD Ready 720 or True HD 1080? :rotfl:
I must admit having a little chuckle about them when I saw them on the shelf in Asda a couple of weeks back. I thought at the time it could potentially be mis-representation because it says "Advanced HD lens technology" (AFAIK it's not a lens, it's a UV filter)0 -
I've got a pair and they are great! So good you can't even see them! Only cost me £500. Got them off some gezzer who sold the emperor a wicked set of skin tight and coloured clothes.0
