Who's the best person for my window?

I've got a single glazed sash that needs a bit of TLC on the exterior. Some of the putty might need replacing, but it def needs flaking paint removing and repainting.

Who's going to be the best person for the job? Painter, general handyman, glazier, chippie?

T.I.A.

Anyone of them would be quite capable of doing a bit of puttying and painting.
Handyman would probably be the cheapest option

Why not have a go yourself, google it, its easy with a bit of practice.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

as a painter i replace glass + putty and strip old paint - and can do minor repairs to wood - if it needs major work done ask your painter if he knows a chippy who can do any repairs

If it was on the ground floor I would gladly do it myself, but I'm no good up a ladder. Thanks for the suggestions.

  • Painter or handyman. Handyman would be cheaper.
