My husband was claiming JSA (contributions based as I work full time) for a couple of months after losing his job.
For the past few months he has been temping although his assignment has come to an end and there is nothing else lined up at the moment.
Would he be able to claim JSA again? I know contributions based can only be claimed for 6 months but is this a continuous 6 month period, can the 6 months' worth be claimed in different periods (i.e. between jobs) or can he potentially claim 6 months' worth of JSA again?

6 months starts again. Unless the period in employment was short (less than 26 weeks) then a rapid reclaim will continue the previous claim.:footie:
