LPG or Electric
:eek:I have LPG central heating which costs me 44.5p per litr and the bills are quite high, would it be cheaper for me to just use electric heaters for my heating I do not have off peak electric and do not want to go to the cost of having it installed. my current electric tarrif is average 13.7 /unit. I have difficulty in comparing costs of ltrs of LPG with KWhrs of electricity.Currently on line discounts etc with SWALEC

Google "LPG kwhrs" and look for a likely hit. This is one..

Be aware that the LPG boiler is not 100% efficient.0 -
Thanks for the info now all I have to decide is whether or not to stick with LPG,oil is not an option. I might just keep a couple of heaters to save putting the central heating system on when all I need is a couple of hours heating in the evening0
