how to repare a Karcher pressure washer

Hi, I have an old Karcher pressure washer 411, although it is old it has not had a lot of wear, when I went to use it today it works, but water is also coming out underneath around the water inlet valve.
can anyone tell me how to fix this. it is not worth spending a lot of money on it, but I don't want to throw it out if I can fix it cheaply.

I have one of these - works fine. In the past, I had an issue with the switch (which I replaced).

Assume the water is leaking from within the unit? If yes, getting the yellow housing off is the greatest challenge. You need a Torx driver (t15 I think - give Karcher UK a call (as I did) to check - very helpful).

You will probably find that an o ring or something has gone. If the leak is around the connection (outside the machine) it will be a doddle to fix. I had this issue too, which was an overtightened (and stripped) plastic connection between the hose on the supply side and the metal threaded connection on the machine itself. Replaced the plastic connector with a brass one like this:

I had a similar problem earlier this year. Open the case as suggested, fire it up, and see where the water is comming from.

Find a part number and ebay it. In my case it was one of these, and a simple fix.
