Gig Tickets rights

I hope someone can give me some advice
I ordered some tickets to see a band way back in June. I have a confirmation email only so far.
Ive checked the website which states that they havent even received the tickets yet from the promoters.
This i find a bit worrying as the gig is in 2 weeks.
Ive also seen plenty of bad reviews of the company online.
Ive booked hotels, travel and a day off work so i can go. What are my rights if they dont turn up. they state on the site to contact them 3 days before the gig if they havent turned up which i find even more worrying.
Anyone else had problems like this and what should i do?
Any help much appreciated

Unfortunately, I believe your rights are that you would be entitled to a refund of the money you have paid for the tickets, but no more - you are not entitled to any "compensation" or payment for any consequential expense (e.g. cost of hotels, travel) from the company providing the tickets. Whether you can get any money back directly from the hotel and/or travel company if you decide not to travel will depend on the T&C of the hotel and travel company you have booked with.0 -
It is standard for gig tickets to be sent out only a few days to a week before the event. If you have bought through an official seller, there are usually procedures in place if the tickets don't arrive (such as collection from the venue).
If you have bought through an unofficial vendor, you're in the lap of the gods.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Agreed - this is to try and stop the pirates from flooding the market with fakes.
Personally, I've never had a ticket fail to turn up but I do appreciate that it does sometimes happen - so make sure you keep checking the website and follow every step of their procedures for non-delivery“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0
