LCD monitor will not come on.
It is making a clicking noise but nothing else..........
Is there anything I can do or is it going to be a new one ???

It sounds like a capacitor might have blown. It's a fairly cheap repair if you know someone who can do it for you and is able to diagnose the specific fault. It's not something I would recommend you do yourself though unless you're up on your micro-electronics.0
