  • I've been looking at this one recently although I don't know whether I would ever pay the prices to stay here. They have some good deals on until the end of January/February I think.

Just been voted best luxury hotel on trip advisor and the reviews are fabulous. It does look amazing and really special.

We've instead booked to stay at the Marriott County Hall using Tesco clubcard deals. It's a 5* and has got excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. The location is brilliant with excellent views (if you get the right room). I'm sure you could probably manage to find a deal on this one

Yea im in the same position, im looking for a nice hotel in July for 1 week. Been looking at the renaissance marriott county hall, but the price is redicilous (spelling), like £2300 approx for the week. Does look v nice and 3rd or 4th in tripadvisor.
    Any other ideas appreciated.

City Inn Westminster or Tower Bridge hotel are excellent, they have really good reviews on tripadvisor. I have stayed in both and they were top class. Both 4*.

Try going to lastminute.com and put "secret hotels" into the search field, they have a lot of 4,5 star hotels which are heavily discounted, the hotels will not be named but full info will be provided of what you can expect.
You may even be able to workout which one it is as the give details and distances of surrounding attractions, tube station etc.

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W

I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.

    Hope that helps
