I am considering buying a run down house to renovate and sell on and would need to borrow 60K for approx. 6 months. What is the cheapest way of doing this? I currently own a house and am mortgage free.

see unsecured borrowing is stuck at 25k, so you have to have some security for the lender at 60k IIRC
Are you wishing to do this alone? Only if you have a partner/ freind etc, that could run up loans as well, then loans/ cc with no early redeeming penalties might be a good idea.:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
