Mistaken identity

Hello everyone, I'm new to all of this so bear with me. We have a complaint in progress about our Lloyds TSB PPI and we wrote a covering letter to back up our claim, but, in this letter we made a mistake over the name of the advisor. We have today written again and explained we were incorrect in identifying a previous account manager as the advisor who mis-sold us our PPI. Will this affect our claim?

    Will this affect our claim?

it will not affect your complaint. If it was a small local firm, it could well of done but almost certainly, given the volume, the banks are not checking with the individuals as to what was said as there is no evidence available to support it. They will go by what the documentary evidence shows.

As dunstonh says, so no worries.

You do not have to write the name of the adviser anyway, the business will do, good luck.

  • Oh THANK-YOU so much for that reassuring news xxx. I lost sleep over the original loan now I'm losing it again over this PPI claim! I'll tell you something, we've been with Lloyds TSB over 30 years and we've only just realised they really don't have our best interests at heart.
I am so looking forward to joining you all on "Martin's worldly widely web".
