comparasion sites

Hi just been on couple comparasion sites via this forum and it shows I could save roughly £11.00.. i inputed the cost on my annual bill from both gas and electric from last yr till now.
Im on a prepayment metres with British gas for both..on standard tarriff
is there anyone who could check it out as surely i should be able to save more or is it right?

postcode me7 2el
usage
british gas.. gas £660.79
electric... £801.90

also do you think this is big usage for 4 bed house?

many thanks

Hi bargainbunny - Entering your Annual cost into the Switch sites doesn't give accurate answers - To get true comparisions you must give them your annual Elec & Gas consumptions in Kwh ( Kilowatt hours)

I guess that the costs you have quoted are from the Annual Statement you have had from BG - This probably does show the annual Kwh consumption on it somewhere, but if not phone BG and ask

Regarding your useage ? for a 4 bed house - Without knowing more about the house and it's occupants it cannot be judged, but on the Gas & Elec costs you have given it all seems a bit strange
  • I agree with dogshome you bills should show your annual projected costs which may be more accurate if you been with old supplier for a year or so
  • hi yes it is annual projected costs but i thought that meant
thats what i have used for a yr so they expecting it to be same?

i retry with the kws and see but i did get email saying i could save £11 a yr if i switch.. i like the idea of being able to top up online whitch british gas now do so will prob stay with them unless it be more of a saving elsewhere.. thanks
