Options
We are thinking of buying our 12 yr old this for xmas as his Acer laptop is now getting rather slow to open up and operate, we bought it him in 2008.

Is this a good tablet and has anyone got any thoughts or comments on this?

Thank you

  • A laptop bought in 2008 shouldn't be slower now than it was when it was bought unless it is held back with lots of junk which has been downloaded and installed. Check https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2436849 for cleanup/speed up suggestions.

On the tablet front - imo it's probably too early to be selecting a model for Christmas. A lot may change by then as there are always new ones being launched.
