Debenhams website misleading

I recently bought a Kitchenaid through the Debenhams website. Quite an expensive purchase but something we'd wanted for ages. The website advertised it with several attachements but when it arrived the glass bowl was missing. I queried this with Debenhams who told me I needed to contact Kitchenaid directly as they don't keep spares. Kitchenaid advised me that the offer shown on the Debenhams website was an old one (finished in December 2010) and that the extra bowl would be £85. I called Debenhams as the previous person had suggested that they might give me the money back to buy this. I was told my options (after much umming and ahhing) were to either return the mixer or they'd give me a £10 discount. I argued they had missold the item but to no avail. Is this right?

they offered you a refund so whats the problem?
if they dont have the bowl and its an error then they are putting you back where you were before the sale0 -

Take the money, then when there's an offer on next time, buy it again.0

Well thanks for the sarcastic and slightly patronising answers. I did think it was a valid question asking if it were up to the supplier to fulfil an order as per their advert though0

I only saw one sarcastic and slightly patronising answer. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

The promotion you're referring to is with KitchenAid, it doesn't matter who you brought the mixer from as long as they're an authorised KitchenAid dealer. Looks like the Debenhams tech team have just messed up the promtion link.
There's a copy of the coupon at divertimenti co uk, find the Artisan Mixer in Electricals and click the link that reads: “Click here for further details and claim form”.
Looks like I can't post a link because I'm a newbie.0
